Objectives: Create an experience of connection to nature and community Stepping into your personal power and leadership Course Description: Relax and unwind as you explore your Lakota Tipi Lodges, the Common House with shower, toilets, laundry, kitchenette, art studio and therapy room, the YogaYurt with beautiful hardwood floor for yoga, dance, and indoor group activities, organic gardens and greenhouse, lawn area with croquet, AquaYurt with heated aquatic therapy saltwater pool, deck with hot tub, relaxing private grounds with hammocks in the oaks, patio area with fire-pit, fountain and bird feeders, dining tables, hiking trails within 1 mile (including the Pacific Crest Trail and Anza Borrego State Park), star gazing, 5-star vegetarian menu, contained on our 2-acre privacy-gated retreat. Begin each day with conscious movement exercise. Explore the four elements of nature in your inner and outer world: air, earth, fire, water. Experience the power of community building, healing touch, aquatic therapy, creativity, and your own personal sense of mission. Connect deeply to your sense of Self and your personal power as you learn to step into leadership. California. (2 hours north/east of San Diego.) About the Facilitators: Chery Owens is a manual therapist, advanced craniosacral therapist, and yoga teacher. She has facilitated and co-facilitated multiple workshops and retreats over the years at locations like Big Sur, CA, and Sedona, AZ, before envisioning Mountain Valley Retreat. Her workshops create deeply connected community and always contain her trademark of fun! His personal mission is to create community and deeper connection to Self. He teaches tai chi, yoga, and meditation. He integrates acupuncture and craniosacral therapy into his practice.
